KARIMA Storytelling

Where Words Become Medicine.

KARIMA Storytelling is the art and performance arm of the Collective — where poetry, presence, and purpose meet.

We use rhythm, narrative, and embodiment to open hearts and re-awaken what’s sacred in the human story.

Every word is chosen like a drumbeat. Every performance is an act of remembering.

Our work moves through classrooms, conferences, community gatherings, and stages — anywhere people are ready to listen with more than their ears.

KARIMA Storytelling also fuels our foundation’s outreach — using art to open access to healing spaces for youth and marginalized communities.

From poetry residencies and creative healing circles to storytelling workshops in schools and nonprofits, our goal is simple:
to remind people that their story still matters.

Jonathan Jackson | Educator. Writer. Storyteller.

Jonathan Jackson is an educator, writer, and spoken-word artist whose work lives where story becomes medicine. As the founder of KARIMA Collective, he leads a creative movement that turns language into healing — helping people and communities reconnect to their rhythm through the power of story, poetry, and performance.

For more than 17 years, Jonathan’s work has existed at the crossroads of leadership, healing, and transformation. From boardrooms to classrooms, his words have inspired leaders, students, and audiences to move from survival to alignment — from silence to song.

Rooted in both clinical training and creative expression, Jonathan brings a rare blend of artistry and insight to every stage. His performances breathe life into silence — giving voice to pain, resilience, and renewal. His workshops blend psychology and poetry to help people write, speak, and live with intention.
And his commissioned brand pieces transform organizational values into powerful stories that move hearts and systems.

Educator. Writer. Storyteller.

Whether on stage, behind the mic, or guiding a creative collaboration, Jonathan’s message remains the same: Our stories are sacred. Our scars are teachers. Every journey has a rhythm. Through KARIMA Storytelling, he invites audiences to not just hear, but feel — to experience the rhythm beneath the words, and remember that healing begins in sound.
